PERSONAL:

Dr. Howard Low, DDSDr. Howard Low has been happily married to Helen since 1980. We love traveling especially to exotic locations and believe in staying physically very active by running, pilates, tennis, regular workouts in the gym, and occasional ballroom dancing. They have two sons.

 

Erik will be completing dental school soon where he has done exceptionally well by being at the top of his class. He has also distinguished himself by having a published research article on stem cells which is rare accomplishment as an undergraduate dental student. We are happy to announce that Erik will definitely be following his father’s footsteps to become a periodontist by attending the UCSF Periodontology Graduate Program. He will be joining our practice after he completes his 3 additional years of training. For many of our long term patients this means we can assure you that there is will continuity of your treatment with us.
Brandon graduated from UC San Diego in 2010 with a degree in Economics; was a nationally ranked tennis player as a junior and played for the UCSD team. He is currently busy with his Internet marketing company; www.adcentricenterprises.com.

 

OFFICE STAFF:

 

Lyn at Dr. Howard Low, DDSLyn is our office manager and financial coordinator. She has been working in dentistry for many years and has been with Dr. Low since 1992. She helps patients navigate their dental plans and financial options. She enjoys working here because of the dedication and outstanding care Dr. Low and the staff provide for our patients.

 

Pilar at Dr. Howard Low, DDSPilar has been in our practice since 1999. She has over 15 years of experience in a wide range of procedures in dentistry. Many patients remember her as Dr. Low's assistant but now she has transitioned as our receptionist. She has excelled in making patients feel welcomed to our office and comfortable in handling all their scheduling needs.

 

Rosa at Dr. Howard Low, DDSRosa is our office surgical assistant. She has over 14 years of experience in the dental field. Her dental background consists of Periodontal, Oral Surgery and other surgical related procedures. Her primary goal as an assistant is to make patients feel at ease and comfortable in our office.

 

REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST STAFF:

All hygienists are extremely well qualified and sensitive to patient's needs. They are extremely good at pointing out issues that should be reviewed with the patient's general dentist or Dr. Low.

 

Sally at Dr. Howard Low, DDSSally has worked with us since 2001 and has been a hygienist for over 30 years. Her experience includes 14 years at a clinic for low-income families, and 10 years at a high-end esthetics practice in Palo Alto. She is past president of the Santa Clara Dental Hygiene Component. Working here has increased her dental knowledge, which allows her to better serve our patients.

 

Glowe at Dr. Howard Low, DDSGlowe has been practicing dental hygiene since 1981. She has been active in the California Dental Hygienist’s Assoc. including the state level Vice President of Education. She joined our office in 1989. She feels it’s very rewarding to help a patient have a better understanding of their periodontal condition and help them to achieve a healthier state.

 

Kriste at Dr. Howard Low, DDSKirsten has been a dental hygienist since 1998 and has worked with Dr. Low since 2000. As a dedicated and skilled clinician, her well-rounded focus on dentistry has given patients positive impact on their dental health. She serves as coordinator of the South Bay Perio Study Club that meets in our office quarterly. Her easy going and calm demeanor helps patients relax.

 

Rochelle at Dr. Howard Low, DDSRochelle has worked in the dental field for 34 years and as a Dental Hygienist for Dr. Low since 1994. She is passionate about her work and a strong advocate for patients. She has exceptional patient care and clinical skills and inspires patients to better oral care by helping them to understand the systemic benefits of excellent dental health. Rochelle earned her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1989 from Foothill College, graduating with honors. She attended U.C. Berkeley, San Jose State and Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, where she earned a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences

Each of our hygienist’s are trained in Extended Functions and specialize in treating patients with Perioscopy.
